We had such a thread in the discussion area, but it got purged...  Appearently discussions get deleted after 2 months of inactivity. Which is rather sad. Even if the discussion has died it still might be an interesting read. But this forum will never build a history of it's own because old discussion just disappear unless they get pinned.

I can understand that requests get deleted after a while,  but I don't know why this is being done to discussion threads too. Maybe they're low on space?  (For example, posts in the "suggestion area" don't get purged...)
